I'm Pippa and I love to cook, eat, and share my recipes and ideas. My love of all things related to food began at a young age when I would help my mom, grandmother, and godparents in the kitchen. What began as a hobby turned into a career. After spending my first years out of college working for a large consulting firm, I decided to enroll in culinary school full time at The French Culinary Institute (now The International Culinary Center) in New York City.

I love to try new restaurants but nothing beats sitting down at the table with friends and family and sharing delicious, homemade food. My husband and I began a tradition when we first moved to New York over 6 years ago of making dinner together every Sunday, and to this day we still look forward to Sunday evenings. 

Over the years I have dabbled in a variety of cuisines, hoping to satisfy my cravings for pasta, Indian curries, stir fries, lapin a la moutarde, and tortilla soup.  Not every meal is a success, but all of them are memorable.  My hope is to share my love of food and cooking with my readers and to inspire people to cook as often as possible.

Favorite Foods:

Eggplant, pasta, dark chocolate, apples, fennel, leeks, raspberries, blueberries, Traditional Cornish Pasties, scones with clotted cream, mustard, parmigiano reggiano cheese, treacle pudding, salt cod, crab apple jelly, wheat germ.

Least Favorite Foods:

I like basically everything with the exception of horseradish (but I'll even tolerate that in small doses)
